Xin Hwa Holdings Bhd has secured a transportation services contract valued at MYR3.44 million from Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Sdn Bhd (MMHE). The contract was awarded to the group’s wholly owned subsidiary, Xin Hwa Trading & Transport Sdn Bhd.
The scope of work includes transportation services between MMHE West and AKEF Tanjung Langsat as well as within the Pasir Gudang area. The operations will involve normal and heavy cargo movements using specialised trucks accompanied by escort services.
The contract is based on estimated trip volumes rather than a fixed lump sum arrangement and is expected to run for approximately 10 months, with completion scheduled by December 31, 2026. Xin Hwa stated that the project is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings for the financial year ending March 31, 2027.
