India-based Wipro has secured a multi-year contract from Malaysia-based Maxis Broadband (Maxis) to provide information technology (IT) managed services for hybrid infrastructure and application maintenance.
Wipro will leverage its augmented intelligence and hyper-automation platform named ‘Wipro Holmes’, global service delivery model, and expertise in the telecommunications domain to support Maxis. The new solutions aim to modernise, automate, and standardise part of Maxis’ global IT managed services and testing functions. The current vendors will be consolidated across non-core application support and development, infrastructure maintenance, new ways of working, and cyber security.
The new partnership has enabled Wipro to grow its footprint in Malaysia.
