Vopak has added 40,000 cubic metres of capacity at its Sebarok terminal in Singapore to blend biofuels into marine fuels and convert the existing pipeline system into a biofuel blending service. In line with this, the company is also developing new infrastructure solutions for low-carbon and renewable hydrogen (ammonia, liquid hydrogen, LOHC), CO2, sustainable fuels and feedstocks, and long-capacity energy storage areas.

Moreover, the Vopak joint venture (JV) and the Port of Singapore Authority Corporation are seeking opportunities to expand Vopak’s ammonia storage infrastructure for low-carbon power generation and bunker fuels at the Banyan terminal.
