The Department of Transportation (DOTr) has opened bids to transform the Laguindingan International Airport (LIA) in Misamis Oriental, the Philippines into a modern, sustainable, and globally connected hub. The scope of the contract will include the financing, designing, construction, operation, and maintenance of the airport under a 30-year concession agreement.
Additionally, the project is expected to improve passenger experience and implement new commercial services.
The project will be included in the Government of the Philippines’ flagship infrastructure program.
