Electric Wind Power, a subsidiary of Shanghai Electric has signed an agreement with a joint venture (JV) consisting of the Hai Anh Wind Power Company, IPC Construction Joint Stock Company (IPC E&C), and Asia Industrial Technology Joint Stock Company (ACIT) to supply its wind turbines for the Hai Anh wind farm project in Quang Tri Province in Vietnam.
The project will be developed on 855.25 hectares of area with an installed capacity of 40 MW. Further, it will deploy eight WH5.25-172 wind turbine units of Electric Wind Power. The first four wind turbines are scheduled for delivery in June 2024, meanwhile, the remaining four will be delivered in mid-June 2024. The installation and connectivity to the grid are expected to be completed in November 2024.
