The Vietnam Electricity Group has awarded the contract to develop a 260 MW hydropower plant to Samsung C&T Corporation. The project, estimated to cost 2.96 trillion dong, involves an EPC to build the Trung Son plant in Thanh Hoa province. The project is expected to be completed by 2017.
