Malaysia’s United Engineers Malaysia (UEM) Group Berhad has reached an agreement with Turkey’s Gozde Girisim and Koc Holding to form a consortium to bid for a highway and bridges tender in Turkey. The tender is for the privatisation of two bridges and seven motorways across Turkey. According to the agreement, the UEM Group Berhad and Koc Holding will have a 40 per cent stake each in the consortium, while Gozde will own the remaining 20 per cent. All the bidding parties are required to submit a bid bond for an amount of RM 152.6 million.
