The third terminal (T3) of the Damang International Airport is expected to be operationalised by end 2019. T3 will be capable of handling 30 million passengers per year. Currently, the airport has two passenger terminals – T1 for domestic flights and T2 for international flights, accommodating a total of 14 million passengers per year. With the commissioning of the new terminal, the total passenger handling capacity of the airport will increase to 44 million passengers per year. The construction of the terminal is expected to cost VND 10 trillion.
