The UK PACT program has called for proposals for funding for sustainable transport projects in Thailand, which will be focused on integrated land use and transport planning, congestion charging, and electrification of transport.

Grants of up to USD665,895 per year are available for projects lasting up to 25 months, starting in November 2024 and ending in December 2026. The projects should aim to reduce carbon emissions, enhance public transportation, and improve accessibility for vulnerable groups. Both international and local non-profit organizations are eligible to apply, and for-profit entities can also participate as long as the projects are not-for-profit. Government agencies are not eligible. Projects must align with the government of Thailand’s strategies, and the budget should not include capital expenditure or tangible assets. If applying as a consortium, at least one local entity must be involved.
