Thailand’s PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) is expected to complete the transfer of operatorship of Australia’s Montara oil project to Jadestone Energy in the third quarter of 2019. Earlier, in July 2018, Jadestone agreed to buy 100 per cent stake in the Montara oil project from PTTEP for a consideration of $195 million in cash. The Montara oil project consists of three oil producing fields – Montara, Skua and Swift/Swallow, located in the Timor Sea, about 690 km west of Darwin, Australia.
