Spain-based Teltronic will deploy the Terrestrial Trunked Radio (TETRA) system on Jabodebek light rail transit (LRT) in Indonesia. The TETRA system will enable seamless voice communication and interfacing with the Train Control Management System (TCMS) for a smooth operation and transmission of telecommand. The system is equipped with a Switching Control Node, a series of strategically placed base stations and a command and control centre (CeCoCo).
The company will supply 76 onboard radios for installation within the trains with 199 portable handsets and 20 mobile radios to be used by maintenance and security teams.
