PhilTower Consortium Incorporated (PhilTower) has partnered with SiteSee to equip around 1,350 telecommunication towers in the Philippines with artificial intelligence (AI). In a move to digitise the infrastructure, the partners will use the digital twin platform to optimise and capture new revenue. This will be combined with drone-based field surveys and audit tools from QNSI.
Images captured by the drone are converted by SiteSee into 3D models. The SiteSee Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms are used for each cell site to produce a digital twin of the assets.
The digitisation process commenced in December 2022, with the partners aiming to provide a more efficient asset management process, precise co-location identification, and built quality compliance.
