Technip has won a detailed engineering and procurement services contract from Jurong Shipyard Private Limited. The contract involves conversion of a shuttle tanker into an FPSO vessel. The conversion will be undertaken at the Jurong Shipyard, Singapore. The FPSO will be based in the Libra field, offshore Brazil. and will have a capacity of 50,000 barrels of oil per day and 4 million cubic metres of natural gas per day. The work is scheduled to be completed in 2016.
