Singapore’s EMA awards 66 kV underground cable contract to LS Cable

Singapore’s Energy Market Authority (EMA) has awarded the contract for a 66 kV underground cable project to South Korea’s LS Cable & System. The scope of the $45 million contract involves supply and installation of cables in Jurong, in which Southeast Asia’s largest petrochemical complex is located. The 66 kV underground cable will enable enhanced electricity transmission in the region.
