Globe Telecom has received the go signal from the country’s Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to create a new holding company to manage its non-core businesses. The new company will be called Globe Capital Venture Holdings. The operator has six other 100 per cent-owned subsidiaries – Asticom Technology (information technology services provider), G-Xchange (mobile commerce services provider), GTI Business Holdings (VoIP services provider), Innove Communications (wireline data and voice services provider), Kickstart Ventures (incubator investment firm) and Yondu (technology solutions provider).
