Taisei Corporation has partnered with Rizal Green Energy Corporation (RGEC) to enhance renewable energy (RE) in the Philippines. RGEC, a subsidiary of PetroGreen Energy Corporation, is developing four solar photovoltaic (PV) projects with a total capacity of 113 MW.
These projects support the country’s goal of increasing RE’s share in its power mix. The projects received funding through the Joint Crediting Mechanism program in 2023. The collaboration emphasises Taisei’s dedication to renewable energy and sustainability.
