Meta Bright Group Bhd (MBGB) in partnership with Doople Tech Sdn Bhd (Doople) has formed a joint venture (JV) to develop renewable energy (RE) capacity in Malaysia. FBO Land (Serendah) Sdn Bhd (FBO Land), a subsidiary of MBGB, will subscribe to one million redeemable non-convertible preference shares (RNCPS) in a newly established JV company.
The JV aims to drive growth into the country’s RE sector, targeting the solar commercial and industrial (C&I) sector. MBGB has completed projects valued at approximately RM3.55 million and ongoing projects valued at around RM11.89 million.
