Stadler is looking to supply trains and other solutions for the proposed redevelopment of the Thap Cham–Da Lat rail route in Vietnam. The provincial Department of Transport is expected to further discuss the possibility of collaboration with Stadler.
In July 2022, the Ministry of Transport approved a proposal to revive the 84-km-long route at an investment of VND24.92 trillion. The work is expected to commence in January 2025. It is expected to be completed in 2029.
