South Korea-based Booyoung Group has donated 1,000 modern buses to the Government of Cambodia for use in the Phnom Penh capital area. This is the second batch of vehicles that the group has delivered, following the 200 buses handed over in February 2023.

By 2027, the new vehicles will be able to operate on hydrogen making them a more sustainable option. The new fleet will be key in alleviating traffic congestion in the city as well as encouraging a modal shift in favour of public transport.
