Australia-based Pure Hydrogen Corporation Limited (Pure Hydrogen), has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club (VAHC), to supply up to five hydrogen buses and allied infrastructure for a trial in Ho Chi Minh City.  This initiative marks the first trial of hydrogen-based vehicles in Vietnam.

The trial, funded by VAHC, a policy group dedicated to advancing hydrogen solutions in Vietnam, along with Vietnam Tourism Partners and Industrial Partners, aims to demonstrate the potential of hydrogen vehicles in Vietnam’s transition to clean energy for passenger transport services. Under this MoU, Pure Hydrogen will be supplying up to three hydrogen fuel cell (HFC) minibuses and two HFC Coaches, a 1MW alkaline electrolyser for hydrogen production and hydrogen refuelling equipment. The vehicles will be manufactured by Hdrive International, a subsidiary of Pure Hydrogen.
