PT PLN (Persero) has collaborated with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to accelerate Indonesia’s energy transition through renewable energy (RE) and electricity modernisation initiatives. This renewed commitment was formalized with the signing of the continuation of the Terms of Reference (TOR).
The six key objectives for the USAID-PLN collaboration are supporting energy transition programs and roadmaps, accelerating renewable energy system implementation, enhancing organizational structures, modernizing operational procedures, fostering cooperation with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, and promoting gender equality and social inclusion programs.
