Pos Malaysia has expanded its electric vehicle fleet to 1,585 vehicles, comprising 1,253 electric motorcycles and 332 electric vans, making it Malaysia’s largest electric logistics fleet. One in three parcels is now delivered using EVs across Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak. Since FY2023, the fleet has travelled 28.8 million km and avoided approximately 3,881 tonnes of CO₂e emissions.
The electrification programme combines EVs with charging infrastructure, telematics and route optimisation to improve fleet efficiency, driver safety and operational resilience. More than 2,200 vehicles are equipped with telematics technology, supporting route planning and fleet utilisation. The programme forms part of Pos Malaysia’s target to achieve 100 per cent green deliveries by 2030 and Net Zero by 2050.
