Pony.ai has launched Robotaxi passenger services in Singapore in partnership with ComfortDelGro. The service is currently operating in Punggol along a 12 km route connecting residential areas such as Punggol Northshore and Waterway Sunrise with key destinations including Oasis Terraces, Punggol Plaza, One Punggol, and Punggol Coast Mall.
Designed to support everyday commuting, the Robotaxi service integrates with existing public transport networks by linking to MRT stations and bus stops, helping address first- and last-mile connectivity challenges. The full journey takes about 55 minutes, saving commuters up to 15 minutes compared to conventional public transport options.
Initially available to invited residents, the service will be expanded following user feedback. The deployment reflects Pony.ai’s broader strategy to scale Robotaxi operations globally, with plans to deploy over 3,000 autonomous vehicles across more than 20 cities, including significant expansion outside China.
The launch also builds on prior autonomous mobility trials conducted jointly by Pony.ai and ComfortDelGro, and aligns with Singapore’s efforts to integrate advanced mobility solutions into its transport ecosystem.
