The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed infrastructure projects worth PHP314.68 million in Luzon and the Visayas in the Philippines.
Some of the key projects include the improvement of a 3.06-km-portion of the Manila-Batangas Road at an investment of PHP94 million and the construction of a box culvert for drainage, installation of street lights for motorists’ safety at a 3.5 km section between Sikatuna and Balilihan in Bohol at an investment of PHP78.95 million. Civil works to upgrade the Concepcion-La Paz Road in Tarlac including the reconstruction of a 608-meter section has also been completed at an investment of PHP48.46 million.
Additionally, flood control projects worth PHP94 million in Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro, and PHP48.2 million in Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya, have also been completed.
