Alternergy Holdings Corporation has secured a PHP4 billion green corporate loan to develop its renewable energy (RE) projects for 2024 in the Philippines. The company has secured loans for the construction of the Solana solar power project in Hermosa, Bataan, and the Tanay and Alabat wind power projects in Rizal and Quezon.

These projects are expected to contribute to the country’s electricity capacity and will generate around 204 MW of additional capacity. Upon completion by the end of 2025, they will provide clean and sustainable electricity, supporting the government’s efforts to enhance the security of the nation’s power supply.
