The Philippines’ Department of Transportation (DOTr) is on track to complete three major land transport terminals in Taguig, Ilocos Norte and El Nido, Palawan in 2027, with a combined investment of PHP6.43 billion. The projects are intended to improve land transport connectivity and expand bus services across Luzon.

The PHP5.2-billion Taguig City Integrated Terminal Exchange (TCITX) in Western Bicutan is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2027. Developed through a public-private partnership with Ayala Land, the 5.57-hectare terminal will accommodate provincial buses and in-city jeepneys and connect with the planned Metro Manila Subway and North-South Commuter Railway. The PHP1.08-billion Ilocos Norte Transport Hub and Parking Building is also targeted for completion in the fourth quarter of 2027, while the PHP150-million El Nido Transport Terminal is expected to be completed during the year.
