The Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DEPDev) of the Philippines announced that three additional infrastructure flagship projects (IFPs) are on track for completion before 2025 end. These include the 30 km Central Luzon Link Expressway Phase 1 connecting Tarlac City and Cabanatuan, the 7.7 km NLEX–SLEX Connector Road extending NLEX to Sta. Mesa, and the 1.34 km Davao River (Bucana) Bridge linking the eastern and western coasts of Davao City.

As of Q3 2025, the government has 209 IFPs valued at PHP 10.52 trillion, with 140 projects focused on physical connectivity. Of the ongoing projects, 40 are targeted for completion by 2028 and 39 are beyond 2028. DEPDev also confirmed that seven projects worth PHP68.65 billion were finished earlier this year, including the Arterial Road Bypass Project Phase III and the Pasig-Marikina River Channel Improvement Project Phase V.
