PetroGreen Energy Corporation (PGEC), will conduct feasibility studies for the development of approximately 4 GW of offshore wind power capacity off the coast of the Philippines.  The Department of Energy (DoE) has granted the company permission to perform a grid impact analysis for the renewable energy (RE) projects.

Feasibility studies include a 2 GW project in Ilocos Norte, a 1 GW project off Occidental Mindoro and Batangas as well as a 500 MW-1 GW project in Iloilo and Guimaras.

During 2022, PGEC plans to extend existing service contract blocks, such as Tarlac and Nabas, as well as additional territories in Central Luzon and Central Visayas.
