NOW Telecom, an affiliate of NOW Corporation, has signed an MoU with Finnish technology company Nokia to introduce 5G network and 5G cases in the Philippines. The deal will focus on the expansion of NOW’s broadband telecommunications network with the deployment of a 5G stand-alone network. The collaboration will also focus on appropriate use cases of the 5G technology. Nokia had 133 commercial 5G contracts worldwide as of November 2020 and is emerging as a global leader in the delivery of 5G solutions.
