Mitsubishi Power has completed the installation of the final M701JAC gas turbine at a 5.3GW combined cycle power plant in Rayong, Thailand. 

The project is a joint venture (JV) with Gulf Energy Development and Mitsui & Company, consists of two GTCC plants in Chonburi and Rayong. Each plant features four gas turbines, steam turbines, and heat recovery generators, ensuring a stable energy supply for Thailand. The first units have already operated for over 100,000 hours. Mitsubishi will manage the plants under a 25-year service agreement.
