Japan-based Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) has secured a contract to upgrade the Changi Airport Skytrain, an automated people mover (APM) system at Singapore Changi Airport. The scope of work includes renewal of facilities for key systems, including the signalling system, the communication system, and tracks. The works are expected to be completed in 2030.

Changi Airport Skytrain spans 6.4 km and connects the three terminals of the airport. The company had supplied an APM system for the airport in 2007.
