Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company (Kim Long Motor), a Vietnam-based automobile manufacturer, has signed an agreement with Cho Thavee Group to annually supply 3,000 electric buses and Yuchai-engine buses in Thailand. This is the first large-scale bus export contract between Kim Long Motor and a strategic partner in Southeast Asia.
Kim Long Motor will be supplying two models of buses in Thailand: an electric bus and a Euro V diesel bus. The buses will be manufactured at Kim Long Motor’s manufacturing plant in Hue, a city in central Vietnam. The buses are designed to meet international standards while being adapted to local climate, infrastructural, and operational needs and conditions in Thailand.
