Modern Energy Management (MEM) has been appointed as the owner’s representative and technical advisor for Highland Infrastructure’s 250 megawatt (MW) wind project in the Philippines.
In January 2021, Highland closed a USD1-million non-recourse loan from Southeast Asia Clean Energy Fund (SEACEF), to fund the project development.
To facilitate an effective power sales strategy, the project will be constructed in phases. Construction on the first 40 MW is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2022.
