Changi Airport Group (CAG) has announced plans to begin the expansion and renovation works of Singapore Changi’s Terminal 2. The main aim of the expansion and renovation is to increase the handling capacity of the airport to cope with growing demand.

A total of 15,500 square metres will be added to the terminal building and the handling capacity will be increased by an additional five million passengers, annually. This is expected to raise the gateway’s capacity to 90 million passengers per annum, after completion of works in 2024.
