Integrated Marine Works Sdn Bhd (IMW) has secured a contract from the Ministry of Transport (MoTr) to conduct dredging and reclamation activities at Malaysia’s ports. The company will conduct works at several federal ports including Port Klang in Selangor, Penang Port, Johor Port and Port of Tanjung Pelepas located in Johor, Teluk Ewa Port in Langkawi, Tanjung Bruas Port in Melaka, Kuantan Port in Pahang, Bintulu Port in Sarawak Kemaman Port in Terengganu and Labuan Port.

The company will use dredging vessels that are designed in accordance with the quality standard of Bureau Veritas and Ship Classification Malaysia.

IMW was previously the concession holder for maintenance dredging for all federal ports between 2004 and 2019. During this period, the company had completed 247 dredging works across the country.
