Rapid Bus and Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL) have launched a bus lane pilot project in the Jalan Ipoh corridor in Kuala Lumpur. The main roads involved in the pilot run are Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah, Jalan Raja Laut and Jalan Dang Wangi and the buses operating on the new lanes include routes 171, 173, 180, 190 and 191.
The trial will run till April 30, 2021. The project is expected to reduce travel time for the buses and will be able to evaluate the bus ride experience to improve safety for bus passengers.
