Vietnam-based CN Green Roof Asia (CNGRA) has launched the 22.785 MWp Solana Solar Bera Project in Hermosa, Bataan, in partnership with Solana Solar Beta Inc. The facility is expected to produce 32.8 GWh of renewable electricity annually—enough to power 30,000 people—and cut about 14,053 tonnes of carbon emissions per year.
CNGRA’s leadership emphasised the project’s broader value in supporting clean energy targets, local employment, and energy security. The development aligns with national renewable energy goals and international infrastructure standards, and is supported by Climate Investor One and Norfund through CNGRA’s blended finance structure. Construction will generate 100 local jobs, while long-term benefits are expected to strengthen the regional energy grid.
Local and cooperative officials endorsed the project’s environmental and economic advantages, highlighting its potential to drive further foreign investment in the country’s renewable sector.
