Government of Malaysia signs MoU for LNG supply to Bangladesh

The Government of Malaysia has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Government of Bangladesh for the supply of LNG. The MoU authorises Malaysia-based Petronas LNG Limited (PLL) and Global LNG Sdn Bhd, as well as Bangladesh Oil, Gas and Mineral Corporation (PETROBANGLA) for delivering the LNG.

A commercial contract is expected to be finalised soon, detailing LNG supply parameters under the MoU’s guiding provisions.
