The Government of Indonesia has announced infrastructure spending targets for 2022 under which it will allocate IDR384.8 trillion from the state budget to finance development projects in the country. The state budget will be combined with other financial sources and will be implemented under the public-private partnership (PPP) model.
The 2022 infrastructure budget will be utilised to finish infrastructure projects that have been stalled or delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The budget will also be used to finance the delivery of fundamental infrastructural services. Additionally, projects involving information and telecommunication technology will be prioritised.
