Manila Water has amended its JV agreement with the provincial government of Laguna to provide water supply to the entire province of Laguna. According to the current 15-year-old concession agreement signed in November 2000, Manila Water can supply water to only three cities in Laguna – Binan, Cabuyao and Santa Rosa. The amendment also covers provision of wastewater services and establishment of an integrated sewage and septage system in the province.
