Wamildan Tsani Panjaitan has been appointed as the new CEO of State-owned airline Garuda Indonesia. In his current role, Panjaitan will used his background in aviation management and military discipline is expected to contribute to transforming the flag-carrier’s standing in the global aviation market. Prior to his current appointment, Panjaitan was former military pilot and acting head of Lion Air and was tasked with steering the airline toward becoming a globally renowned carrier.
