First Maxpower International Corporation to commence construction of 50 MW wind power project in Negros Occidental

First Maxpower International Corporation will begin the construction of its 50 MW wind power project in Negros Occidental. The move comes after the DOE’s declaration of the commercial feasibility of the venture. First Maxpower has already obtained the environmental compliance certificate and other clearances from local government agencies for this project. The company has two additional proposed wind plants in the municipalities of Sanchez Mira and Claveria.
