ExxonMobil Asia Pacific and Shell, through their S-Hub consortium, will partner with the Government of Singapore on a cross-border carbon capture and storage (CCS) project.
The project’s goal is to capture and securely store at least 2.5 million tonnes of CO2 annually by 2030. The selection of suitable storage sites will involve thorough analysis to ensure safety and effectiveness. The appointment of S-Hub for this project aligns with the government’s commitment to achieving climate change targets through various decarbonisation measures.
