Sembcorp Marine director Bob Tan Beng Hai has succeeded Lim Jit Poh as chairman of transport operator SBS Transit (SBST). He will also chair the SBST tenders board and sit on the nominating and remuneration panel.
He currently serves Sembcorp Marine, a marine engineering company, as an independent director. In addition, he is the chairman of the Sentosa Development Corporation and Jurong Engineering. He is also a part of the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s (MAS) corporate governance consulting committee and securities business council. He is also a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
