The People’s Committee of Dầu Tiếng District in Bình Dương Province has announced its development plans until 2040. The strategy emphasises attracting investments and promoting various infrastructure projects. By 2025, the aim is for Dầu Tiếng Town to achieve Class 4 urban status. The district intends to concentrate industrial zones, discouraging the establishment of production facilities outside designated areas post-2025.
Additionally, the plan emphasises integrated development, synchronizing industrial, urban, and service sectors with transport and social infrastructure. Tourism development will focus on four key areas, including Dầu Tiếng Lake and the Saigon and Thị Tính rivers, with a wide range of tourism services over 3,500 hectares. Infrastructure improvements such as road construction and bus terminal expansion are also planned which includes the Mỹ Phước – Tân Vạn Expressway. The province is prioritizing the construction and development of new industrial zones in the area.
