The Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), a sovereign wealth fund, has purchased a stake in Southeast Asia (SEA)-based EdgePoint Infrastructure, a telecom towers platform. The ownership of ADIA has not been disclosed. EdgePoint has received a commitment of up to USD500 million from the fund in the form of investment. This will cover both acquisitions and the construction of additional towers.

EdgePoint Infrastructure constructs, purchases, and manages telecom towers in the SEA region. It has amassed a portfolio of almost 10,000 assets throughout Indonesia and Malaysia primarily through acquisitions. Following the ADIA investment, it plans to pursue further acquisitions in other SEA markets.
