Megawide Construction Corporation has received the notice of award for the Baguio City Integrated Terminal (BCIT) Project, valued at PHP1.2 billion, under a Public–Private Partnership (PPP) with the Baguio City government. The terminal will be built along Marcos Highway and is designed to serve as a passenger transfer hub connecting provincial buses and in-city transport. The 40-year lease agreement governs the operation of the terminal, with land provided under a usufruct agreement with the Department of Agriculture.

The BCIT will feature loading and unloading bays for provincial and in-city transport, passenger waiting areas with commercial facilities, public parking, ticketing and customer service booths, schedule information kiosks, baggage amenities, and disability-friendly access. The terminal is designed to accommodate 25,000 passengers daily and will connect seven southbound routes to La Union, Pangasinan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Metro Manila, and Cavite.

The project forms part of Megawide’s broader landport network, which includes the Mactan-Cebu International Airport, Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX), and the upcoming South Luzon Integrated Terminal Exchange (SLITX) in Cavite. The initiative aims to reduce congestion in Baguio, promote seamless intercity transfers, and enhance mobility across key Luzon corridors, while supporting the city’s socio-economic development.
