Singapore’s Land Transport Authority (LTA) has awarded a contract to a consortium comprising MKX Technologies, MOGOX (Zhidao Network Technology Co. Ltd., Beijing), and BYD (Singapore) to implement the city-state’s first Level 4 (L4) autonomous public bus pilot. The pilot will commence in the second half of 2026, covering Service 191 in one-north and Service 400 along Marina Bay and Shenton Way, connecting key hubs including Marina Bay Cruise Centre, Gardens by the Bay, and MRT stations. The pilot will run for an initial period of three years.

MOGOX will provide full-stack L4 autonomous driving technology, including research and development, integrated hardware and software suites, and fleet management systems. The solution comprises lidar, millimeter-wave radar, cameras, and remote operation systems. The company’s MogoMind AI platform enhances autonomous decision-making and vehicle adaptability in urban environments. The consortium will also oversee deployment, operations, and real-world performance monitoring for the autonomous buses.

The project represents a strategic step in Singapore’s adoption of autonomous public transport and MOGOX’s global expansion. MOGOBUS vehicles have already been deployed across 10 provinces in China, serving over 200,000 passengers and accumulating more than 2 million km of safe autonomous operation. The initiative supports Singapore’s broader goals for safe, smart, and sustainable public transportation.
