Taiwan-based ATE Energy has won two new renewable energy contracts in the Philippines, following its 2024 acquisition of a local photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage project. The latest awards mark a significant step in strengthening its engineering and development footprint between Taiwan and the Philippines.

The contracts were secured through government bidding and align with ATE Energy’s strategy to expand across Southeast Asia. The company anticipates that 70 per cent of its revenue in 2025 will come from overseas markets, with the Philippines playing a key role in this growth. The exact details of the projects were not disclosed publicly due to subscription access limits.

This development comes amid increasing interest from Taiwan’s green energy firms in the Philippines, where supportive policies and high energy demand are driving foreign participation.
