Nexif Ratch Energy has obtained the Pre-Development Environmental Compliance Certificate (Pre-Dev ECC) from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) for its 500MW San Miguel Bay Wind Power Project. The approval, granted in March 2025, permits the start of critical pre-development activities, including geotechnical surveys, environmental assessments, and wind measurements.
The project had previously been granted the Certificate of Energy Project of National Significance (CEPNS) by the Department of Energy (DOE) in December 2024 and is listed as a Strategic Investment under the Philippine Board of Investments’ Green Lane Initiative. Nexif Ratch is also advancing its 475 MW Lucena Wind Power Project, which received CEPNS status in January 2025. Both projects are expected to participate in the DOE’s Green Energy Auction 5 later in 2025.
